Location: Members' Zoom Call,

Dating can be extremely stressful and rejecting because we often focus on whether or not someone likes us.

Rachel New uses mindfulness to help us build awareness of the baggage we bring to dating.  Once we are aware of it, we can break unhealthy behavioural patterns, and once we break those patterns, we can make better choices.

Let’s all learn to date mindfully and enjoy the experience!

In this workshop, using a range of activities, Rachel will help you explore these questions:

  • Why do I want to date?
  • What have I learnt from past relationships?
  • What is my relationship blueprint?
  • What kind of relationship do I want?
  • Who am I?
  • How do I feel about myself?

Rachel will lead some mindful meditation and set you short reflective tasks to work on alone. There will be some group discussion that you can join in with or just listen to, and there will be plenty of time for Q&A with Rachel too. The workshop aims to give you time and space in a supportive environment to dig deep into what your relationship needs are.

The aim of the workshop is for you to

  • make sense of the place you have reached in your life
  • feel good about yourself and give off the right vibe
  • feel confident about what you need from a relationship
  • enable you to “tell your story” on a date or dating app
